Weatherproof Enclosure for Linksys WRT54G.
|
The AP Enclosure is an externally-mountable, weatherproof box,
that can house your AP. If required, it includes an integrated Regulated Power Over Ethernet
(RPOE) module so that your AP receives a steady supply voltage, regardless of
ethernet cable length, or current fluctuations.

The Minitar version does not need a
regulator. All the regulation is done within the AP. |

The enclosure comes with 4 holes, that can be used to attach to any flat
surface.
An optional Pole Mount Kit is available, with the following
features.
 | additional protection from direct heating from the sun |
| additional protection from UV rays from the sun, extending the life of the
ABS enclosure |
| includes two V-clamps for direct mounting to a pole |
| V-clamp mounting holes exactly match those of the 'Downpipe' waveguide
antenna, making combination mounting a simple task. |

This picture shows the Pole Mount Kit used
in conjunction with a Downpipe antenna. The
V-clamp holes on the Pole Mount Kit exactly match the
mounting holes on a Downpipe antenna, simplifying
the mounting process. This picture also shows the
Weatherproof AP Enclosure mounted inside the Pole Mount Kit. |
The RPOE cable (CAT5e) is not 'external' cable. Any outside sections should
be protected with suitable conduit.
Typical pricing for a complete unit, with 15m of CAT5 cable,
is shown below.
