The SatCap

Introduction

The SatCap (SCA) is an extension of the AntCaptenna, but with a smaller reflector, and different mounting so that is can be used with a standard SatTV dish. Like the AntCaptenna, it is:

bullet

directional

bullet

waterproof

bullet

rugged

bullet

Terminated with a female-socket N-connector (unless otherwise specified)

Note that the satellite dish is mounted upside down. This is because most dish mounting brackets were not designed to allow rotation to horizontal (zero) elevations. The solution is to reverse the mounting bracket.

You can buy some of the harder to get parts, or completely assembled SatCaps here .

Pictures show the SatCap oriented for a Horizontally polarized signal.
